Gratitude on Friday

Raindrops on roses
And whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells
And schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver-white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad
- Julie Andrews ( Sound of Music)

  1. I too am such a fan of Julie Andrews and I loved this whole post! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  2. What a beautiful and soul filling post. I am grateful for the sun, the sand and the ocean, my little man and the daily lessons I am gifted from him, tea, good healthy delicious food, chosen family, making the time and space to be creative, for feeling supported and loved, for learning new things, and for the abundance in my life right now.

I hope you have the most beautiful start to your week. xo
